National Foster Care Month is an initiative led by the Children’s Bureau to promote awareness of children and youth in the foster care system and acknowledge all those who make a meaningful difference in their lives.
 
We can each play a part in enhancing the lives of children and youth in foster care. Larimer/Shannon Group (LSG) is proud to partner with The Global Orphan Project’s CarePortal as a Community Champion. CarePortal is a network-based platform designed to connect children, youth and families impacted by the foster care crisis with churches and groups who want to help. Being a Community Champion is a way for organizations like LSG to provide financial support to help meet the needs of these children and families in the communities we serve.
